Bishop Modern's Lease-Up Manager will own the full lifecycle of taking a brand-new building from zero to stabilized occupancy. You'll be the face of the property, the engine of the leasing operation, and the architect of the community before it even exists. This isn't a maintenance role — it's a launch role. Fast-moving, high-visibility, and genuinely exciting.

 

You'll work hand-in-hand with our development, marketing, and operations teams to make Bishop Modern the hottest new address in the Bishop Arts District — and you'll have the full weight of the Exxir brand behind you to do it.

 

CONSIDERATION — WHAT SETS YOU APART?

 

Lease-up experience.  Have you taken a new development from pre-leasing to stabilization before? This is the big one.

Sales-first mentality.  Leasing is a contact sport. Are you energized by tours, follow-ups, and closing?

Community builder.  Can you make people feel something about a place before move-in day even arrives?

Marketing chops.  Social-media savvy, content-aware, and comfortable working with a marketing team to tell a great story.

Hospitality heart.  Is the art of making people feel welcome your unfair advantage?

Data-driven.  Can you read your leasing funnel, identify drop-off points, and adjust tactics in real time?

Entrepreneurial spirit.  This role has room to run. Do you thrive with ownership and autonomy?

Bonus points:  AppFolio experience, bilingual, prior Class A multifamily or lease-up background.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES — HERE'S THE NUTS AND BOLTS

 

•     Leasing. Own the full leasing pipeline: lead generation, tours, applications, approvals, and move-ins — from the very first inquiry to opening day and beyond.

•     Marketing. Partner with the Exxir marketing team to execute campaigns, manage social presence, and position Bishop Modern as the place to live in Bishop Arts.

•     Community. Start building the Bishop Modern community before residents even move in — events, engagement, and experience.

•     Operations. Stand up all leasing systems, processes, and reporting from scratch. You'll set the standard, not inherit one.

•     Financial. Track velocity targets, occupancy rates, and rent rolls. Know your numbers and report them clearly to ownership.

•     Resident Experience. Set the tone for service from day one — resolve issues fast, build loyalty early, and keep residents thrilled they chose Bishop Modern.

•     Collaboration. Work closely with development, construction, and property management teams through the final stages of building completion and punch-list.

•     Legal & Compliance. Ensure all leasing activity is in accordance with Fair Housing laws and Exxir's standards.
