About Exxir.

A holding company built on conviction.

ABOUT EXXIR

Welcome to Exxir.

Fifteen brands. One family. We've been building in Dallas since the 1990s — apartments people call home, restaurants people return to, fitness studios that change how their day feels, retail concepts that make a neighborhood feel like itself again.

Every brand under our roof was conceived, designed, built, and opened by the same team. Nothing outsourced. Nothing licensed. The person who picks the tile is the same person who signs the lease, hires the chef, brands the launch, and walks through on opening night.

Exxir is 100% internally funded. No investors. No quarterly pressure. We build for the long term — places we'd want to live in, eat in, work in. Over 1 million square feet across Dallas, and we are just getting started.

When you join Exxir, you're not joining a portfolio company. You're joining the mothership — the team that decides what gets built next.

Section 02

The Role.

Junior Accountant — Dallas, TX.

02 / 06
In Short

At Exxir, the Junior Accountant is the financial foundation beneath everything we build — the person who keeps the numbers honest, maintains the records clean, and ensures that every transaction reflects the discipline this brand stands for. This role exists because precision is not optional here; it is the standard.

You are not just entering data. You are holding the financial picture together — reconciling accounts, supporting the month-end close, communicating with vendors, and making sure payroll moves without a hitch. You are the one who catches what others miss, who watches the ledger with the same conviction we bring to every other corner of this brand.

We are looking for someone who is excited to grow inside a premium environment where the work is taken seriously — someone who finds satisfaction in a clean reconciliation, who treats a well-organized record as a point of pride, and who is ready to build something that lasts.

What You'll Own
  • 01
    DAILY FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS
Accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, payments. You record them accurately and keep them current, every single day.
  • 02
    RECONCILIATION & LEDGER INTEGRITY
Bank accounts, credit cards, general ledger. You reconcile them on schedule and resolve discrepancies before they compound.
  • 03
    PAYROLL SUPPORT
You assist with payroll processing and reporting, making sure the people who power this brand are paid correctly and on time.
  • 04
    MONTH-END CLOSE
You support the close cycle with organized documentation and accurate reporting, so leadership can make decisions with confidence.
  • 05
    VENDOR & TEAM COMMUNICATION
You are the point of contact for financial questions from vendors and internal teams — clear, professional, and timely.
  • 06
    COMPLIANCE & TAX FILINGS
Sales tax returns and recurring financial reports fall to you. You file them correctly and on schedule, without being reminded.

OUR PEOPLE

The kind of person we hire.

We build things that last, with people who care about every detail. If you'd rather solve a real problem than chase a trend — and you recognize yourself here — you're the kind of person we hire.

Must-Haves
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
A formal foundation in the discipline matters here. Related fields considered if your hands-on experience is strong.
  • 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
You have worked with real numbers in a real business setting — not just coursework. AP, AR, reconciliations, or similar.
  • Solid grasp of accounting principles
You understand debits and credits, the general ledger, and why accuracy at the entry level protects everything above it.
  • Experience with accounting software and Excel
QuickBooks or a comparable platform. Excel beyond basic — you are comfortable with formulas, formatting, and keeping a clean sheet.
  • Exceptional attention to detail
You notice the number that is off by a dollar. You do not move on until you understand why.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines
Month-end, payroll cycles, tax filings — you track what is due, prioritize without being told, and deliver on time.
Bonus · Nice-to-Haves
  • Bilingual in Spanish
Helpful for vendor and team communication in certain contexts. Not required, but genuinely valued.
  • Experience in hospitality, fitness, or retail
Understanding the pace and texture of a consumer-facing brand gives you useful context for the numbers you will be working with.
